Ectoin
Creates a hydro-shell around cells to defend against UV and thermal stress. Reinforced in Northern Light.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
A workhorse vitamin that strengthens the skin barrier, evens tone, calms redness and helps regulate oil. Plays well with almost every active, which is why it runs through most of the range.
N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG)
An amino-sugar and precursor to hyaluronic acid. Boosts hydration and, paired with niacinamide, helps fade uneven pigment.
Caffeine
Constricts vessels to reduce puffiness and dark circles, and stimulates microcirculation at the scalp and skin surface.
Adenosine
A cell-signalling nucleoside that promotes smoother, firmer-looking skin and supports the follicle's energy supply.
Centella Asiatica

Minoxidil

Ceramide (NP · AP · EOP)
The skin's own barrier lipids. A blend of ceramide NP, AP and EOP rebuilds the lipid layer using the same materials the skin makes itself — why Aegis pairs them with cholesterol and phytosphingosine.
Cholesterol
One of the three lipids (with ceramides and fatty acids) the barrier is built from; restores flexibility and water-holding to compromised skin.

A lipid building block that supports ceramide production and helps keep the barrier calm and balanced.
