Crown & Pelt: The PDRN Upgrade
We’ve upgraded Crown and Pelt with PDRN — regenerative polynucleotides that prime the scalp and amplify the copper-peptide signal. Here’s what changed and why.
We don’t change a formula for the sake of it. But when an active earns its place, it goes in. Crown (Aurora) and Pelt (Woad) — the same dual copper-peptide density serum in two houses — now carry PDRN.
What It Is
PDRN — polynucleotides, fractions of purified salmon DNA — is a regenerative active. It switches on the skin’s own repair crew: it drives fibroblast activity, feeds tissue turnover, and improves microcirculation at the site you apply it.
Why It Belongs in a Hair Serum
Crown and Pelt already signal the follicle from several angles — AHK-Cu + GHK-Cu (dual copper peptides) wake dormant roots, while adenosine and caffeine work the growth cycle. PDRN does something the others don’t: it prepares the ground. Better repair and better blood flow at the root mean the copper peptides land on healthier tissue and have more to work with. Feed the follicle, and feed the soil it sits in.
And it isn’t all lab actives. We’ve worked in rosemary and peppermint oil too — rosemary is one of the few botanicals with genuine hair-growth evidence behind it, and both leave a clean, cooling tingle that tells you it’s working.
The Stack Now
Dual copper peptides · PDRN · adenosine · caffeine · niacinamide · hyaluronate · rosemary & peppermint oil.
Nothing changes in how you use it — same nightly application, same weightless finish. Just a stronger formula underneath.
