The Right Way to Combine RU58841 and Copper Peptides

Using both a DHT blocker and a growth serum? Don't apply them together — you'll cancel one out. Here's the simple morning/night split that works.

If you're serious about your hair, you're probably using two things: a DHT blocker to stop shedding (RU58841) and a copper peptide serum to feed new growth (AHK-Cu). They're a great pair — but apply them at the same time and you'll quietly undo one of them. Here's why, and the easy fix.

Why they clash

Our DHT blockers, Shield Wall and Follicle Sanctuary, use an alcohol-based carrier. That's deliberate — the alcohol drives RU58841 down through the scalp's oils to the follicle, then evaporates. But copper peptides are delicate. When they meet a strong alcohol solvent, they come apart and lose their shape, and a peptide without its shape does nothing. Mix them on your scalp and you've essentially paid for expensive blue water.

The fix: a simple morning/night split

Keep them apart and both work perfectly. It takes no extra effort — just a different time of day for each.

  • Morning — the blocker. Apply Shield Wall or Follicle Sanctuary to a clean, dry scalp. The alcohol carrier evaporates quickly and leaves the DHT block in place for the day.
  • Night — the growth serum. Apply Pelt or Crown before bed. By evening any trace of the morning's solvent is long gone, so the copper peptides stay stable and feed the follicle overnight while your body's in repair mode.

That's all there is to it

Blocker in the morning, growth at night. You get the full strength of both — the 10% DHT block by day and the copper peptides by night — with nothing wasted. It's the single easiest way to make sure the money and effort you're putting in actually shows up on your head.
